The Dunvegan Show is a fun, family friendly day out with lots to see and do. We have competitions, games and exhibitions. We welcome locals and visitors alike. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead.
Welcome
A very warm welcome to everyone attending this yearโs show!
Each year, our dedicated committee and volunteers work tirelessly to create an event that brings together our community and visitors alike.. We are incredibly grateful to every exhibitor for the time, care and effort they put into making the show such a success.
As we celebrate our 75th year, we are proud to continue celebrating the agriculture and crofting that are at the heart of our community.
The show is only possible thanks to the support of so many people. In particular, we would like to thank:
โข Our judges, stewards, competitors, stall holders, traders and visitors
โข Our volunteers for their time and commitment
โข Paul Boswell, Emma-Jane Morrison and Nicola MacKinnon for providing photos
โข The sponsors of our show and competition classes including:
– NFU Mutual Skye, Lochalsh and Outer Hebrides
– The Dunvegan
– Dunvegan Community Trust
– Dunvegan Castle
– Muirhall Energy
โข Local businesses who donated prizes for the raffle and tombola
โข Dunvegan Primary School for the use of the school and grounds to host the event
โข John MacLeod for the use of his croft
We would like to take this time to remember the very sadly missed Sandy Morrison for his support and involvement with the show throughout the years!
As we celebrate this special milestone year and look ahead to the future, we thank everyone who has supported the Dunvegan Show over the past 75 years. Your continued encouragement, involvement and community spirit ensures that this event continues for generations to come.
Join us for the Dunvegan Show Dance after the show, for a great night of music, dancing and fun! Live music, licensed bar and tickets available on the door. We look forward to seeing you there!
We hope you enjoy your day at the Dunvegan Show and thank you for being part of this special community event!
